Fun, fearless and full of energy! The Sapphires are a brilliant 9-a-side team playing in the Leicestershire & Rutland Girls League, where togetherness, confidence and enjoyment are at the heart of everything we do.

We encourage every player to express themselves and play with confidence, developing strong ball mastery, dribbling and 1v1 skills while being brave enough to take on opponents. We also work on passing, movement and combinations to play forward, create opportunities and connect as a team.

Our style is built around positive, confident football, giving players the freedom to make decisions, take risks and enjoy having the ball. Out of possession, we work just as hard for each other, pressing to win the ball back, covering, communicating and supporting our teammates.
