U14 Gems

Join our U14 Gems as they enter their fourth season together. An amazing group of girls who have impressed and developed so much over the past few years.

The girls play an attractive, passing style of football, work extremely hard for each other and have a fantastic willingness to learn. What really stands out is how close they are as a group, always supporting one another and making new players feel welcome.

Before every game, we ask the girls for three simple things: have fun, work hard and be brave, both on and off the ball. It’s a big part of what this team is all about.

The team has enjoyed some fantastic achievements, including being named Leicestershire & Rutland League Fair Play Winners for the 2024/25 season and AALGFC Team of the Year in 2026. They have also played at St George’s Park in 2024 and ESF in 2025 and 2026.

Their achievements extend beyond the pitch too, with two players named AALGFC Young Volunteers of the Year in 2026 and two players graduating from the AALGFC Young Leadership Programme.

 

Looking ahead, we want the girls to continue enjoying their football, developing their passing style of play and pushing themselves to improve, just as they have done every season.

We’re looking forward to seeing the next chapter of this group’s football journey.

We train on Wednesday evenings 6:30-7:30pm at Saxby Road CC, LE13 1BP (summer) and John Ferneley College 3G, LE13 1LH (winter).
