U18s

This season is a really exciting one for our U18s, as for the first time we will be fielding two U18 squads. It is a fantastic reflection of the growth of girls’ football at the club and the number of players who want to continue playing and developing within a supportive environment.

Some of the girls have been together since U7 and have grown up playing football alongside each other, while others have joined along the way and brought new friendships, personalities and strengths to the squads. The atmosphere is always friendly and supportive, with the girls encouraging one another and, most importantly, playing their football with a smile.

For us, it’s about creating an environment where players can continue to develop, challenge themselves and enjoy their football. As the girls move towards adult football, we want to help them build confidence, improve their understanding of the game and develop both on and off the pitch.

We are also proud to be creating clear pathways for our players into both our Development Squad and First Team, giving them the opportunity to take their next steps within the club when they are ready.

We are really excited to see what the season brings. We train on Wednesday & Thursday evenings, 7:30-9pm John Ferneley College 3G, LE13 1LH.
