U12s

Meet the U12 Sapphires - a brilliant group of girls who've stuck together through thick and thin, working their way up from the bottom tier all the way to Gold level football in the Leicestershire & Rutland girls league. Last season was particularly special, with an incredible unbeaten run from September to January and a fantastic runner-up finish in the LCLFC summer tournament. What makes us most proud though is seeing our girls train and play with genuine smiles on their faces - nearly everyone turns up to every session because they absolutely love being part of the team.

Despite coming from different primary schools, our Sapphires gel brilliantly both on and off the pitch. They know how to have a laugh together but can also buckle down and work as a proper team when it matters. We've welcomed four new players recently, and it's been wonderful watching how quickly the original girls made them feel at home. With secondary school and our first competitive league season on the horizon, it's an exciting time to join us!

 

We train Wednesday evenings at Long Field Spencer Academy, LE13 0BN 6-7pm (summer) and John Ferneley College 3G, LE13 1LH, 5:30-6:30pm and are always delighted to welcome new players - just get in touch!
