U13 Gems

Our U13s Gems are brilliant! The girls have only been playing football for two years, and it's incredible to see how much they've all progressed. These girls never give up trying, and whilst most didn't know each other when we started, they've built fantastic friendships and real team spirit.

We play in the Leicestershire & Rutland Girls League, Bronze division, and train Wednesdays 6:30-8pm at Long Field Spencer Academy, LE13 0BN (summer) and 6:30-7:30pm at John Ferneley College 3G, LE13 1LH (winter).

We're so proud of our recent achievements, including winning the League Respect and Fair Play Award for the 24/25 season and playing at prestigious tournaments like the All-Star Cup at St George's Park and the ESF Skegness tournament. Two of our players, Inez and Isabel, both won the Most Improved Goalkeeper Award this season, showing the fantastic development happening in our squad. Inez and Isabella have also been selected to lead the club's Youth Committee, where they gather feedback from players about how we can improve our club experience. This brilliant initiative gives our young players a voice and helps them develop confidence in speaking up and leading positive change.

Some of our most memorable moments include watching Kaya score our first ever goal, seeing everyone's faces when we got our first win, and watching the girls hold their own against some of the country's best teams in tournaments.

This season, we're looking forward to improving our understanding of the game, learning new skills, and adjusting to 11-a-side football whilst keeping our team motto at heart: "Gems always work hard and never give up!"

Come along and join something special!
