U14s
Our U14s play in the Silver Division of the Leicestershire Women & Girls Football League, with a big focus on respect, development and fun!
Last season was packed with achievements we’re hugely proud of. We were invited to take part in a special tournament recognising teams for outstanding sportsmanship, reached the County Cup quarter-final for the first time, and won 14 out of 16 league matches — often playing with fewer than 11 players! To be crowned U13 Silver Division Champions! We also proudly took home the Team of the Year award at our Club Awards.
The season also delivered some unforgettable moments — like the last-minute penalty save that saw the whole team race to celebrate with our goalkeeper, and the dramatic last-minute winner during the FA’s Silent Support Weekend (where silence may have gone very briefly out the window!).
Beyond the results, we’re so proud of the individual progress our players continue to make — including girls being selected for Emerging Talent Centres (ETCs), and several Young Leaders graduating from our club’s Leadership Academy, already coaching and inspiring younger age groups. Most importantly, this team has become a true football family.
We train Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm Long Field Spencer Academy, LE13 0BN (summer) / John Ferneley 3G, LE13 1LH (winter). Whether you’ve played before or are brand new, you’ll be welcomed with open arms. Come along and make great friends, and share in the fun.
