U9 Gems

Welcome to our fantastic U9s Gems - a team full of energy, talent and determination! These brilliant girls have shown incredible spirit on the pitch, and we couldn't be prouder of what they've achieved together. Last season was full of highlights, including taking on the challenge at St George's Park ESF tournament where they played against older teams and absolutely smashed it! Several of our talented players were even shortlisted for Player of the Year at our Club awards.

 

This season brings fresh excitement as we step up to 7v7 football for the first time, and we're buzzing to see how our Gems will sparkle in this new format! We train Wednesdays 6-7pm at Long Field Spencer Academy, LE13 0BN (summer), 5:30-6:30pm John Ferneley 3G, LE13 1LH (winter). We're delighted to have Mark Gamble join the coaching team. Mark brings a wealth of footballing knowledge and experience from previous playing and coaching roles.

 

With amazing teamwork, brilliant individual performances, and that unstoppable Gems spirit, this promises to be our best season yet. Come and join a team where every girl shines!
